I ran some errands then headed home to get ready. Ryan's niece's birthdays passed in the last couple months and part of our gift was to take them to dinner, so finally we were able to schedule a time with them!! Not only were we celebrating their birthday, but also their last summer before high school!! Seems like it was so long ago we were getting ready for high school!
So we took the girls to True Food, since it was Friday and do you remember when we were going to do Fox Fridays?! Well we haven't, so we were trying to kick start those again with the girls! We had a good time hanging out, hearing about all that there is in the life of a 14 year old girl. There is a pretty amazing candy store at Scottsdale Quarter, so we headed in there to take some photos, and sugar them up before we sent them back to their parents!!
We took them home, and on the car ride back up to their homes Mirah told me I reminder her of Lauren Conrad! I mean she may as well have told me that I was the best person in the entire world!!!! I text Mary and Ann to let them know how cool I was, and beamed with happiness the whole way home. And yes, I realize how strange that is considering I'm older than Lauren and shouldn't think that's awesome, but I do, and I'm okay with that!
