Day 19, March 9th

Ash Wednesday...goodbye my sweet Diet Coke.  As every Ash Wednesday, i.e. first day without my drug, I am probably not the cheery gal you all know me to be.  But I soldier on, because that's how I roll. Anyway, I do suppose the $.86 I spend every day will add up throughout Lent and I could buy a Costco size case of diet coke on Easter Sunday with that cash!! So plus side!
Anyway...after work, Ryan and I met up at the homestead and then headed up to church to get some ashes.  We stopped at Paradise Bakery for dinner beforehand, which we did last year so it's sort of our tradition now.  I'm seriously obsessed with traditions, no joke if we don't go to Paradise Bakery next Ash Wednesday I'll probably cry and be upset that Ryan broke our tradition...haha, but seriously.  So, we went to Church, got ashes, then headed to Ulta because I was completely out of makeup and then headed home.  Another wild night for the Groggers.
