We went to a restaurant, Tapas, which is famous for their...you guessed it, tapas. We got a couple of beers, this is before I knew I could order white wine, and got some delicious hummus, caprese salad and bruschetta, it was seriously amazing and we decided there we wanted our meals at home to follow suit.
Tapas had a map for their placemats, so we saw there was a church near by and decided that should be our next stop.
Sarah, "I love that this area has one church, so cute"
Ryan, "I'm sure it's Catholic because of all the Spanish roots here"
So off we went to see this little church in the south of Tenerife, the only place to worship on this side of the Island. As we walked up to the cute little church and read the bulletin board, low and behold, an Anglican Church. So much excitement overwhelmed me, as my incredibly small religion, almost unknown to most, was the only church in this community. As I did my victory dance and tried to keep up with Ryan as he quickly moved away from me I knew that today I was victorious! :)
After we got back to the hotel we got ready and went to dinner at the hotel restaurant, Little Italy, our hotel was Italian themed, so pasta and pizza flowed. Dinner was delicious, and this was when we got to thinking we may be the only Americans on the island, and started to seek others. Anyone we thought could be we'd watch intently, and each time we were wrong. After dinner we went to the patio bar, but the bar was closed, so we just enjoyed the night.
